nOT Choosing Misery

It is so funny how we vividly remember the bad, but hardly stamp the good at heart.  In light of Gods undying love, we should strive hard to erase bad memories, for they are worthless reminders. Life is ephemeral, never allow a single act reverberate over time & space to leave stains in the present.

There is no justification in holding on to insignificant past missteps in order to excuse our present acts of selfishness, it is true that only fools store their past in the future. We may find the need to  clarify what we already know a million time over, cry when need be, ask many questions so we don’t repeat history, what ever needs to be done, we do; but ultimately we need to MOVE forward.

Today, I will remember the grace of God and smile, think of all the many ways He has been good to me and smile. I will remember that nothing is worth more than the present and smile, I will remember we are only human and smile, I will remember that I am a far cry from perfect and smile, I will remember that I have been more than blessed with the most selfless, most adorable, smartest, charming, helpful, caring, lovely, lovable, cutest/manliest, God fearing, patient, Mr. Mr. in the entire world, and count my blessings.

They say “Those who forget history are doomed to repeat them”, but I think those who hold on to history are destined to never find beauty in the present. The past year has been remarkable, much attest to the fact the prayer changes everything and God always protects His own

PS: The devil is a liar; nothing is strong enough to destroy the tower of GOD. I am His tower!
