"we all have to be more Godly than Religious", two totally different things people!!!!................ so sad and frustrating how many people get this mixed up.
Religion is a sect!!! "a body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practice" religion is a support group, people with similar perception.
Godliness is divine, it is conforming to the laws and wishes of God, It is doing as God has prescribed for us, it is Kindness, it is pious, Godliness is fearing God, respecting His words. Godliness is doing of God, according to God, be it while you watch TV, in the shower,what you do when no human eyes sees you.
Godliness, in character & conduct is determined by the principle of love, of fear of God in the heart. you can be religious and NOT Godly. spending every minute of the day in Church or Mosque doesn't make you Godly, it makes you a religious person. we all need to look inward and aggrandize our Godliness.
